Structure of LCD TV

Welcome to Know prices
Liquid crystal display is a type of display widely used in computer monitors, television, watches, aircraft cockpit displays, signage and many other electronic devices. Samsung LCD TV are usually more compact, lightweight, portable and efficient than cathode ray tube. They utilize two sheets of polarizing filters with a liquid crystal between them. An electric current passed through causes the crystals to align so that light cannot pass through them. Images in color or monochrome are produced by electronically modulated device that controls currents. The sandwiching liquid crystals are between two finely grooved surfaces, where the grooves on one surface are perpendicular to the grooves on the other. The crystals are forced into a twisted structure, which also twists the light passing through by 90 degrees. No voltage is applied; polarized light can pass through the lower analyzer.

The liquid crystals are very sensitive to temperature and are often used to make thermometers. A fair amount of heat and high temperature difference may also spoil the crystals and cause leakage. It is commonly used to display characters and graphic images when connected a host system. A Samsung LCD TV module consists of a TFT panel, driving-circuit unit, and backlight system and assembly unit. The color filter contains the black matrix and resin film containing three primary color - red, green, and blue - dyes or pigments. The two glass substrates are assembled with a sealant, the gap between them is maintained by spacers, and LC material is injected into the gap between the substrates.
